'Kanchana 2' ( 'Muni 3' ) Opening Day Box Office Collection: Raghava Lawrence Starrer Grosses ₹5.77 Crore

Raghava Lawrence movie "Kanchana 2" has opened with a big bang at the box office. As per the latest report, the film has got humungous opening and has grossed total of ₹5.77 Crore in Tamil Nadu alone.

The numbers were shared by industry analyst Sreedhar Pillai through his Twitter page

The latest figures have ensured that the movie is going to be the first hit of summer 2015 in Tamil. "Kanchana 2", a horror comedy flick has worked well with the family crowd and this has resulted in the increase of nearly 30 screens in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Bangalore.

Movie analyst now guess that the box office collection of the movie in Kerala and Karnataka will be beyond expectations.

"Kanchana 2" has already received great critical reception and the movie was appreciated for its fast paced narration. Now, the box office numbers suggest that the movie has capability of breaking the records of the previous two versions "Kanchana" and "Muni" which were huge success.

Raghava Lawrence plays the lead in "Kanchana 2", which is also written and directed by him. The film also features Taapsee Pannu, Kovai Sarala, Jaya Prakash, Pooja Ramachandran, Jangiri Madhumitha, Nithya Menen and Manobala.
