Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol starrer "Dilwale" was an average grosser at the domestic box office and that has reportedly left the actress very disappointed.  A Pinkvilla report says that Kajol regrets choosing Rohit Shetty's "Dilwale" over Sujoy Ghosh's upcoming movie "Durga Rani Singh".

Earlier, there were reports that Sujoy Ghosh had approached Kajol for the lead role in "Durga Rani Singh". But nothing worked out between them and the role eventually went to Vidya Balan, reports said. There were also reports that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan would play the lead role in the biopic. However, there has not been any confirmation on the cast of "Durga Rani Singh".

Kajol now reportedly regrets not being part of Sujoy Ghosh's upcoming movie. As reported, Kajol is not only unhappy about the response "Dilwale" has received from the critics and audience.

Moreover, Kajol now thinks that she would have got a better scope to exhibit her acting prowess in the upcoming biopic directed by Sujoy Ghosh, and that would have been an impactful comeback for her, the report said.
