For a while now, promoting a film on television shows has been a go-to strategy for the makers. Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and several other A-list stars have taken to it, and now the younger lot is following suit.

Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were on the sets of "Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan 2" to promote their upcoming film "Shaandaar". Veebha Anand aka RJ Navya Naveli from the show took to Instagram to express her joy of having met the actors.

"It was a good experience and MTV is trying to do something different by bringing fiction cum reality tracks. Navya will be taking an interview of the actors and this is how they are trying to do something different," she told India-Forums.

While this may be an exciting piece of news for the stars' fans, Parth Samthaan's admirers might have to keep a party planner on speed dial.

Niti Taylor, in her interview with Bollywood Life, said how Parth's exit was disheartening and later urged people to watch the show as anything might happen.

"It is a shocker for everybody when a main character leaves a show. It's disheartening. But then, it's not our fault and it's not even his(Parth) fault, it's his choice. But you can't blame us for it. Atleast see our show, anything might happen. Manik just might come back once again. No one knows what's going to happen," she further elaborated.

Only time will tell if Parth returns to the show for his fans' sake or will Yuvraj Thakur, who has been roped in to play Maddie, find a concrete place in the hearts of all the "Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan 2" fans.
