If anyone has been a great friend for Selena, it is Taylor Swift. The "Blank Space" singer has been there for her in good times and in bad. Selena once said in an interview to People Magazine that she could always count on Taylor and recapped an incident when the latter flew in with home-made cookies and junk food when Nick Jonas broke up with her.
Well, since their friendship is so tight, would Taylor Swift agree to perform alongside Selena's ex, Justin Bieber? After all, the "Baby" singer admitted that he wouldn't mind performing with Taylor at Super Bowl.
A source close to Taylor has said that she would object to performing with Justin. "He shouldn't hold his breath. She wants nothing to do with him. She would love performing with Britney, Bruno [Mars] and so many others, but Justin is not in any plans for it to ever happen," Hollywood Life quoted the insider as saying.
While Taylor's reasons are unclear, it could perhaps be motivated by her loyalty for Selena, who went through a very difficult time after her break-up with Justin.
Meanwhile, Taylor was announced as one of the early Emmy winners. She won an award for Original Interactive Program for "AMEX Unstaged: Taylor Swift Experience," which she produced and starred in, reported Entertainment Weekly.
Looks like everything Taylor Swift touches is gold, or a Grammy, or an Emmy.
