Juhi Chawla, Nita Ambani, Swati Piramal, Nawaz Singhania, Ananya Goenka, Leena Tiwari, Radhika Sheth, Anupa Sahney and many other women corporate bigwigs were seen taking a tour of Akkineni Nagarjuna's Annapurna Studios on Saturday, 15 November.
In a statement released to the media, Akkineni Nagarjuna has confirmed the news that Annapurna Studios had a surprised group of VIP guests on Saturday.
The actor himself guided the distinguished visitors to tour around the studio. Interestingly, superstar Mahesh Babu and his wife Namrata Shirodkar was also present to receive the guests.
"The guests took tour of the Studios where a number of major productions are currently in progress. They also visited the preview theatre, edit suites, sound recording unit and the Annapurna International Film School for Film and Media," said Nagarjuna.
Annapurna Studios is a leading film and TV production house in Hyderabad, established by late veteran Telugu actor Nageswara Rao Akkineni in 1955. More than 30 films and five TV serials have been produced under the banner of the studio.
It provides various production facilities such as studio floors for set construction, outdoor sets, editing, dubbing and digital intermediate suites. It also runs non-profit Annapurna International School of Film and Media.
After a good two hours of tour, Juhi Chawla said, "It's been brilliant to see such world class studios right here in India." The guests also posed with Nagarjuna, Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar for photographs.
