Jr NTR's "Baadshah" has successfully completed 100 days in five centres across Andhra Pradesh.

"Baadshah", which was released on 5 April, received massive response worldwide and became one of the highest grossing films of NTR. The film managed to secure a place in the elite ₹40-crore club that has the likes of "Dookudu", "Businessman", "Naayak", "Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu" and "Mirchi".

"Baadshah" was shown in record number of screens across the globe and was a smash hit in the US raking in ₹1.29 cr from 76 locations on the first day. It made approximately ₹13.5 crore on the opening day of its release worldwide.

On 24 May, "Baadshah" successfully completed 50 days in 60 theatres across Andhra Pradesh. This week, the film completed 100 days in five centres - Adhoni, Allagadda, Madanapalle, Tirupathi and Shadnagar.

More than 40 Telugu films have been released in the first half of the year. But, only a very few films have done good business. Jr NTR joined the list of popular stars including Ram Charan Teja ("Naayak"), Prabhas ("Mirchi"), Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh ("SVSC") to have scored big at the box office.

Directed by Sreenu Vaitla, "Baadshah" is an action entertainer that had all the key elements of a commercial film. Jr NTR's action sequence, comic scenes, entertaining songs and NTR's dance moves are the main highlights of the film. The success of "Baadshah" gave respite to Jr NTR who had three back-to-back box office flops.

Following "Baadshah", Jr NTR is gearing up for his next release - "Ramayya Vasthavayya" directed by Harish Shankar of "Gabbar Singh" fame. The film is also an action entertainer that has Samantha playing the female lead and Shruti Haasan appears in a pivotal role. The film is expected to get released in the last week of September.
