As names of several possible contestants for the upcoming season of dance reality show "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa" have been doing the rounds, the latest one to join the bandwagon is ace dancer Salman Yusuff Khan.
Salman, who had been a part of the reality show as a choreographer, will reportedly be seen as a participant in this season, Tellychakkar.com reported.
Besides Salman, television actor Shantanu Maheshwari, who is currently seen on MTV's "Girls on Top," will apparently be a part of the show as well.
Other possible contestants of "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9" are West Indies cricket team's popular players Chris Gayle and Dwayne Bravo, Adaa Khan, Surveen Chawla, Arjun Bijlani, Shakti Arora, Gautam Gulati, Manish Raisinghan, Asha Negi, Mandana Karimi, Nora Fatehi, Karishma Tanna, Sonali Raut, Ruhaanika Dhawan, Spandan Chaturvedi and Siddharth Nigam.
As for the judges, Jacqueline Fernandez has been confirmed as the female judge. "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9" will mark the TV debut of the "Housefull 3" actress, who will join the judges' panel with previous season's judges Karan Johar and Ganesh Hegde.
The report also said the Manish Paul, who hosted the last season, would continue to showcase his hosting skills this time as well and entertain the audience with his funny antics.
"Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9" will also see a change in the show's format and the set of choreographers. The new season of the dance reality show will not see choreographers like Deepak Singh, Sneha Kapoor, Dheeraj Bakshi and others, who have been associated with the show for the past few seasons. Instead, new choreographers will be roped in for the season.
