It is known that Pawan Kalyan has been asking the central government to grant special status for Andhra Pradesh and has been protesting about this. He had recently announced that he would tour the state to create awareness about the rights of Seemandhra. As promised, the Jana Sena party founder has already held public meetings in some cities in recent weeks. The public meeting in Anantapur is his latest event in that direction.
Seemandhra Hakkula Chaitanya Sabha is being held at the government college grounds in Ananthpur at 3.30 pm today. Jana Sena party has made all arrangements for Pawan Kalyan's public meeting. The event is telecast live on NTV and some other Telugu TV channels. The function will also be live streamed on the official YouTube channel of Jana Sena party.
Pawan Kalyan usually pulls big crowds and the massive presence of people in his previous public meets is a proof for his popularity. A large number of fans, admirers and Jana Sena activists are expected to attend Seemandhra Hakkula Chaitanya Sabha in Ananthpur and make it a big success like the previous ones.
But experts from the film industry feel that this public meeting of Pawan Kalyan may end up as a poor show following the ban on currency notes with denomination of Rs 500 and Rs 1000. Fans from different parts of the state need money to spend on travelling, restaurants and hotels. Since these high value notes are not accepted, the followers of Pawan Kalyan may find it difficult to make it to the event.
