The veterans of the Indian Super League have prevailed in the first leg of ISL 2016 semi-final and the newbies have got a job on hand on their return leg. Predictable storyline? Well, this shows us again that even the best of skilled teams falter against the experienced!

Kerala Blasters and Atletico de Kolkata could well renew their rivalry in the second-ever ISL final in three years, come December 18. At the moment, both Delhi Dynamos and Mumbai City FC -- who made it to the last four of the competition for the first time in three seasons -- need to do something special to make a turnaround in their respective return leg matches and enter the ISL 2016 final.

If scores are level between the teams following their return leg fixtures, extra time and penalties will have to decide the fate of the match. Away goal rule doesn't count in the Indian football competition. Therefore, with just narrow results achieved in the first leg, a lot can transpire from the second leg fixtures.

The home teams in both games have earned victories, but with the return leg taking place in their home territory, expect an impressive performance from both Mumbai and Delhi. As per records over the years and the surprising trend that has been, it could very well be Delhi Dynamos coming out as the ISL 2016 champions.
