Hours after the Ottawa shooting incident happened near the Parliament Hill, the ISIS militant supporters took to Twitter to laud the dead shooter Michael Zehaf-Bibeau and the St-Jean-sur-Richelieu 'hit and run' killer Martin Couture-Rouleau for their actions. The ISIS has now called for more attacks on Canada.

While the investigating agencies in Canada are yet to confirm a link between ISIS and the dead Ottawa shooter, the IS supporters on Twitter indicate that it was indeed 'their' operation.

A report published in SITE revealed that the two 'terror' attacks in Canada within three days have evoked a strong reaction from online jihadists.

Earlier on Monday, ISIS jihadi supporter Martin-Rouleau killed a Canadian soldier, after ramming a car on two soldiers. He was later shot and killed. He was also a Muslim convert, like the Parliament Hill shooter, Zehaf-Bibeau, who had an Algerian descent.

Reports indicate that since Monday's 'hit and run incident', jihadist supporters on Twitter are 'calling for more such attacks' on Canada.

Recent reports have also found that several Twitter posts were also being made by Canadians, and some claim that they are living in Syria under ISIS.

One of them Abu Khalid Al-Kanadi, a Canadian jihadist, whose account now has been suspended even called Martin-Rouleau a 'brother' and asked others to attack his homeland.

A Canadian national Abu Khalid Al-Kanadi,who is believed to be fighting for ISIS in Syria called on others to wage more attacks in Canada.

In his last tweet, he lauded Martin-Rouleau. "Muslims in Canada, follow the footsteps of our brave brother Martin Rouleau who took revenge for Canadian military aggression in out lands," al Kanadi tweeted.

Reports indicate that as many as 130 Canadians are currently in Syria and Iraq fighting with the IS, but the number could very well be much higher.

Right after the Ottawo shooting incident, a jihadi supporter Abu Talha Al Muhajir ‏@AbuTalha001 said: " After Canada decided to Bomb & murder muslims, Supposedly just few bullets shook all of #Canada Expected wasnt it? #OttawaShooting."

While another, Life of Mujahid ‏@LifeofMujahid1 commented on the statement by the Canadian government asking all its army personnel to avoid wearing their uniforms in public mocked and said: "As soon as Canada decided to bomb Muslims, their army shud have hidden themselves. Did they expect Muslims to just wait to get bmbd? #Ottawa."

It should be noted that the reactions by jihadists and ISIS supporters are not only mere reflection of the revengeful attitute, it is also a propaganda to gain Western audiences.

A tweet by Fadheelah ‏@drugfreeummah03 summarises why Muslims often end up supporting the jihadists: "what canada is feeling today is what Muslims in Iraq Afghanistan Syria Pakistan Somalia Yemen Sudan Libya etc feel daily when bombed!"

Similarly a post by Barbarosa ‏@BarbarosaSYR stated: "In their mind, Canada was waging an immoral war on Muslims, especially when attacking non ISIS rebel groups in Syria! Canada 'terror' attack."
