Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will play host to Rajasthan Royals (RR) in match number 47 of the ongoing Pepsi Indian Premier League (IPL) 2015 in Chennai on Sunday.

Both CSK and RR have lost their last matches and will be eyeing the top spot on the points table after their clash on Sunday.

CSK were poor on the field and as a result they lost their last match against MI. RR on the other hand had to chase a 200-plus total and came very close to chasing it down but felt short and lost their match against SRH.

Let's have a look at some of the key clashes from this match:

Brendon McCullum Vs Chris Morris: McCullum has given perfect starts to the CSK innings so far. He is undoubtedly one of the most dangerous batsmen at the top of the order. Morris will have to be careful with his line and length. He should bowl a tight line and length so that McCullum can't free his arms.

Ajinkya Rahane Vs Ashish Nehra: Rahane has been one of the best batsmen of the tournament and is sitting at the top of the 'Orange Cap' list. He is a classy batsman who will not hit the ball hard but time it to perfection and is an expert in threading the gaps. Nehra on the other hand has been the best bowler for CSK and is leading the race for 'Purple Cap'. He will have to mix it up nicely so that Rahane finds it difficult to time the ball.

Steve Smith Vs Ravichandran Ashwin: Smith was brilliant in their last game and almost guided RR to a thrilling victory but unfortunately fell short of the target. The world knows how good a batsman he is. Ashwin on the other hand has faced in the hands of Smith a number of times in the recent past and will have to bowl well. His variations can fox the bests and it will be a good contest.

Suresh Raina Vs James Faulkner: Raina has been the most consistent batsman for CSK over the past eight years. Whenever CSK were in trouble, Raina stepped into those big shoes and delivered for his side. He will be up against James Faulkner who is an intelligent bowler as well. His variations have been effective so far this season.
