New Delhi based mobile phone maker Intex Technologies has expanded its Aqua phone portfolio with two new budget Android smartphones dubbed as Intex Aqua SX and the Intex Aqua Star. Keeping to its tradition, the company made the phones cheap this time too.

The phones have made its appearance silently on the company's official website with a price tag of ₹4,490 for Aqua SX and ₹3,990 for Aqua Star. The official roll out of the smartphone is yet to be known. However, it is presumed that it would hit the stores soon.

On the specification front, Intex Aqua SX sports a 3.5-inch TFT capacitive LCD display with a resolution of 480×320 pixels and is powered by a 1GHz MediaTek MTK6515 processor. It runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and packs 256MB RAM along with 128MB internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The handset has 5-megapixel primary camera and a VGA front camera. In terms of connectivity, the device supports WIFI and Bluetooth. It houses 1,450mAH battery.

On the other hand, Aqua Star packs a 4-inch screen and runs on the same Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. In terms of image sensor, the device packs 3Megapixel main snapper with flash and 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera.

Earlier in February, the company introduced another budget phone - Aqua Style - with a price tag of ₹11, 280.The smartphone sports a 5.9-inch touch-screen display and runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS powered by a dual-core processor.
