Handsome hunks Ian Somerhalder and Theo James could be competing against each other for a movie role. Rumour has it that the two are being considered for the role in the film adaptation of "Hush, Hush". The two actors have reportedly been shortlisted to play Patch, a fallen angel.

"Hush, Hush" is story of a woman called Nora Grey who falls in love with Patch. Patch seems to know more about Grey then her closest friends and this allures her towards him. He is desperate to become a human being, however, this is revealed later to Grey.

Somerhalder with his blue-eyed angelic looks could very well fit the role. Meanwhile, another actor who is hot favorite for the mysterious and lovable character of Patch is "Divergent" sensation James.

Since the success of young adult fantasy fiction movie, James has become a hot favorite among film makers. James has inhibited charm and exuberant persona, which could prove extremely valuable for the role of a fallen angel on screen. Plus, as it could be deduced from "Divergent", James has a great romantic timing. Needless to say his chemistry with Shailene Woodley is enthralling and fans would not like mind seeing him romance on big screen once again.

Though there is no official confirmation as to who could play the role of Patch, the author of the novel, Becca Fitzpatrick's had previously explained that the casting would not be an easy task. "That's always the hardest part to nail in any movie - making sure you get the right actors and that they're portraying the characters well, " Entertainmentwise quoted her.

However, she did say that when she starting writing the novel she had two actors in her mind.

"I started writing Hush, Hush almost ten years ago, so I was picturing actors who are obviously now too old to play the parts. I wanted Steven Strait for Patch and Emmy Rossum for Nora, but that won't work anymore."
