Bollywood superhero Hrithik Roshan is ready to celebrate Krishna Janmashtami with govindas in Mumbai in a different way this time.

The actor will relive his dahi handi sequence he performed in Karan Johar's hit movie "Agneepath" which was released in January and that crossed Rs 1 billion mark at the box office.

Roshan will be celebrating janmashtami at Worli's Jamboree Maidan which is organized by politician Sachin Ahir.

"The joy of participating in a real life dahi handi of such massive scale is unparalleled and unbeatable. This festival brings the entire community together. I am looking forward to seeing how these agile Govindas perform on Janmashtami day," Hrithik told The Times of India

Apart from Hrithik the event will also have actor Emraan Hashmi and Esha Deol, who recently got married to Bharat Takhtani, perfuming a ballet playing Radha before the crowd.

More than 400 govinda mandals will participate in the Janmashtami celebrations organized by Ahir and his wife Sangeeta in Worli.

While Hrithik and Esha will perform at the event, Emran will be promoting his upcoming horror movie "Raaz 3".

"We have always received great response for the celebration that we hold every year. We take all precautionary measures to ensure the safety of every participant by keeping medical aid handy," Sangeeta said, adding that "At the venue, we also carpet the entire ground to avoid any injury if the participants fall while forming the human pyramid."

Krishna Janmashtami also known as Gokulashtami is a Hindu festival celebrating the birth of Lord Krishna, an avatar of the god Vishnu.

Dahi handi celebrates mischievous behaviour of Krishna where he along with his team of friends known as govindas forms a human pyramid to reach the hanging pot of butter and break it.
