Bollywood couple Hrithik and Sussane might have announced their split a few days back, but that hasn't stopped them from being cordial with each other.
Hrithik recently returned from US post his treatment, just in time to attend his sons' annual day functions at their school.
The estranged couple reportedly came together to attend their sons Hrehaan and Hridhaan's school function and was cordial and exchanged pleasantries, according to Bollywood Life. The couple showed no signs of awkwardness and seemed quite comfortable as they hugged each other and even sat beside one another keeping in tune with their paternal responsibilities.
Hrithik had announced separation from his wife of 12 years, Sussanne earlier this month as he stated: "Sussanne has decided to separate from me and end our 17-year relationship..."
However, the interior designer in confirming the split had said that the couple's responsibility towards their two sons was of foremost importance.
"We are two individuals...and have made our own individual choices. We are parents to two wonderful kids and our responsibility remains to protect and take care of them. Nothing can change that," read Sussanne's statement.
The star wife recently opened her luxury business outlet in Mumbai, which recorded star studded presence. Sussanne at the event had clarified that no one was to be blamed for their breakup.
"You can't blame anyone for this. It is sad to blame anyone..."There is no reason sometimes you have to take a call. It is just a situation," PTI quoted Sussanne.
