Actress Urvashi Rautela will be seen in the adult comedy "Great Grand Masti" after her latest film "Sanam Re." It is the third instalment of the popular "Masti" franchise, whose previous two versions were "Masti" and "Grand Masti."

There are reports the film, which has been delayed due to certification, will be much more explicit in terms of content. Recently, Urvashi spoke at an event about her character in the flick and said it is inspired by that of Ajay Devgn and Lara Dutta's characters in "Masti."

"I have lot of things on my shoulder, and I hope Ajay Devgn likes my character," IANS quoted Urvashi as saying. "I play the girlfriend of all three guys (played by Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi and Aftab Shivdasani) in the film. My role is inspired by what Ajay Devgn and Lara Dutta did in 'Masti'."

Directed by Indra Kumar and produced by Ekta Kapoor, "Great Grand Masti" also features Shraddha Das, Mishti, Pooja Chopra, Sonal Chauhan and Pooja Bose. Ekta Kapoor's last production venture, "Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3," which was also an adult comedy, had a decent box office opening but eventually failed to keep up momentum.

"Great Grand Masti" was earlier rejected by the censor board, apprently over its alleged extremely vulgar content. It was expected the makers of the film would then head to the Revising Committee (RC), but the producer reportedly decided to instead approach the Film Certification Appellate Tribunal directly  to appeal for its certification.

"Ekta felt the RC would probably reject the film, much like the censor board. So, she saw no point in going to them and just delaying the process. She decided to take the matter directly to the tribunal," Spotboye quoted a source as saying.
