SS Rajamouli's "Baahubali" is on a roll and the lead actors – Rana Daggubati and Prabhas – have managed to impress viewers with their acting skills. There's another B-Town actor who is decidedly thrilled about the film's success and has a secret to reveal.
"Bajrangi Bhaijaan" star Salman Khan loved Rana's performance in the epic war film, adding how his advice has worked for the south star.
"I am really happy that Baahubali has done well. And today Rana will realise why I used to tell him to act. He wanted to be a software engineer," Deccan Chronicle quoted Salman as saying, who later added, "That film is supposed to be something else only! I've seen the promos and have known Rana for the longest time and he has done a superb job."
While Salman continues to be in awe of the film, his 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' might be in trouble because of the very magnum opus. The Kabir Khan directorial is sure to be affected by the humongous impact "Baahubali" has left at the box office.
"It is likely that Bajrangi may not get the number of screens and theatres that it was expected to. Several theatres would rather continue with Baahubali. A certified blockbuster is any day a safer bet than a potential blockbuster," the leading daily quoted an executive of a multiplex chain as saying.
"Baahubali" also features Tamannaah Bhatia, Anushka Shetty and Ramya Krishnan in key roles.
