Hugh Jackman's Wolverine costume from the upcoming "X-Men: Apocalypse" has not been revealed, as has been claimed.

The Australian actor's costume is expected to pay homage to the original comic book character, and a news report claimed that 20th Century Fox has unveiled on its Twitter account the first official look of the character.

According to the news item, the actor was reportedly wearing the yellow/orange Wolverine suit, complete with a face mask, and the image was captioned, "FIRST LOOK: Hugh Jackman's Wolverine in X-Men: Apocalypse!"

But a quick scan of Twitter shows that the tweet did not come from X-Men Movies, as has been claimed. It appears to be an April Fool's Day prank.

Here's the tweet that managed to fool many.

Jackman has been playing Wolverine since 2000, and he will be portraying the role one last time in the Wolverine sequel that will come out in 2017. The actor recently shared a photo of his character's iconic claws and captioned it," Wolverine…One Last Time. HJ," hinting he is gearing up to say goodbye to the character soon.

Director James Mangold later followed up the post, tweeting: "@RealHughJackman: WOLVERINE ...ONE LAST TIME. HJ https://Instagram.com/p/0x7TKcihJw/ " Can't wait to make this, HJ! Been toiling quietly a while now!"

Meanwhile, fans are eager to see what Wolverine's costume will be in the upcoming movie, and many want him to wear the classic yellow one featured in the books.
