Ace choreographer Remo D'Souza turns 43 on 2 April. He is one of the finest choreographers in Bollywood, who has now become a great director.

He made his debut as a director with "F.A.L.T.U", which did quite well in the box office. Then he came with dance-based film "ABCD". The film starred mostly the contestants of "Dance India Dance", a television dance show that was judged by Remo.

Now, he is coming with his next flick, "ABCD 2", which features Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor.

His journey from a dancer to director was not easy. After assisting Ahmed Khan for a year, Remo got his first break as a choreographer in Sonu Nigam's music album "Deewana".

His first film as a choreographer was Aamir Khan's "Rangeela". Unlike others, Remo had no professional training and had opened a dance class, called "Super Brats".

Interestingly, Remo's wife Lizelle had proposed to him by putting a ring in a champagne bottle. The two had met when they were background dancers.
