"Sons of Anarchy" star Charlie Hunnam turns 35 on Friday, and with each passing year the actor's sex appeal is on the rise. This is one reason why fans love to see him shirtless or nude, and the actor has no issues stripping if the script demands it.

Here are some fun facts about the actor whose nude scenes on the FX show have broken boundaries.

He has no issues with nudity:

"Sons of Anarchy," over its seven seasons, did not shy away from giving fans a peek at Hunnam's fit physique whenever possible. And the actor recently said in an interview that he was quite comfortable taking his shirt off or going nude.

"The level of nudity that I do now, which is taking my shirt off, doesn't bother me at all. But I have done full frontal before," he told Elle Canada."I did full frontal when I was 18 on the TV show Queer As Folk. But because I was playing a 15-year-old character, the censorship people wouldn't allow us to put it on TV. I think when I was young, I was a little bit more fearless with that stuff. I don't know...I'm sure I would; I have nothing to hide."

Relaxed home environment:

Also, the fact that Hunnam grew up in a household where nudity wasn't an issue has helped him become comfortable shedding clothes.

"My mum was always walking around in the house naked and I spent a bunch of time with my aunt growing up — she was sort of like my second mum — she was walking around the house naked, too," he told The Kit.

Exercise Routine:

Anyone with a fit and fab body would not hesitate to strip if the script demands it, and Hunnam works hard to maintain his physique. Hunnam believes exercise also helps him to maintain his mental peace.

"I work out more for the mental than the physical aspect. I can get slightly dark when I'm not keeping a routine," he told Men's Health. "It's all about feeling healthy and energetic."

His work out routine includes doing 75 pull-ups, 75 dips, 150 squats, 150 pushups, and then 20 minutes of ab work.
