Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan turned 51 March 14. The actor returned to India from the U.S. Sunday evening and participated in a cake-cutting ceremony with media and fans at his residence as part of his birthday celebrations.
Aamir, who had turned 90 kilos for his upcoming movie "Dangal," has returned to India with a much toned body as he has shed 13 kgs in just three weeks, according to Deccan Chronicle. On his 51st birthday, Mr Perfectionist also said that he needs to lose 12 kgs more for the next schedule of the film. "Dangal" is a biopic on legendary wrestler Mahavir Phogat. While Aamir plays the lead role, Sakshi Tanwar will be seen as his onscreen wife. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the movie will present Aamir as father of two daughters played by Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra.
Revealing his biggest desire, Aamir said that he wants to buy an ancestral home in Varanasi and gift it to his mother. "My biggest wish today is that if I could buy my mother her ancestral home in Varanasi. My mother spent her childhood in Varanasi. I have seen that home. Since then it has been in my mind that if I can request people there and get that house," Business Standard quoted Aamir as saying.
Aamir is not very active on Twitter, but his fans ensured that he becomes a trend on the micro-blogging site as hashtag #HappyBirthdayAamirKhan started trending.
