"Happy Bhag Jayegi" is a romantic comedy based on the story and screenplay by Mudassar Aziz. It is a cross-border drama that explores relationships in a unique and beautiful way. The film is a fun family entertainer with a perfect blend of humorous narrative and interesting characters, say viewers.

Bilal Ahmed (Abhay Deol) is a guy from Lahore who aspires to join the Pakistan cricket team. But his father forces him to become a politician. Happy/Harpreet Kaur (Diana Penty), who hails from Amritsar, is supposed to marry Daman Singh Bagga (Jimmy Shergill). But she loves Guddu / Gurdeep Singh (Ali Fazal). She elopes from her house and jumps into a truck full of baskets. The same truck reaches Bilal's house, carrying the baskets and Happy. What happens next unfolds a comic tale of errors.

After wonderful scripting, Mudassar Aziz's brilliant characterisation forms the highlight of the film. Diana Penty, Abhay Deol, Jimmy Shergill, Ali Fazal and Momal Sheikh have done justice to their respective roles. Their performances are the high points of the movie.

"Happy Bhag Jayegi" has been produced by Anand L Rai and Krishika Lulla under the banners Eros International and Colour Yellow Productions. The movie has decent production values and music and the attractive picturisation is the attraction on the technical front, say the viewers.
