After much delay, the shooting of Hansika-Simbu's "Vaalu" has resumed in Chennai.
"Vaalu" was expected to get released for Diwali last year, but the film was delayed due to financial and other issues. Simbu (aka STR) also became busy with his other projects, including his music album and a cameo role in VTV Ganesh's "Inga Enna Solludhu."
After completing his part for the film in London, Simbu returned to Chennai last week and began resuming the shoot for "Vaalu", directed by debutant Vijay Chander. The film produced by Nic Arts is deemed as a commercial entertainer co-starring Hansika, Santhanam, VTV Ganesh, Brahmanandam and Salim Ghouse.
Kannada actor Aditya makes his debut as a villain in "Vaalu". The actor is shooting his last schedule for the film. "The team is back on track, as we are currently shooting for the climax in Chennai," Aditya was quoted as saying by The Times of India.
"Vaalu" leading stars Simbu and Hansika will begin shooting for the first time after going public with their relationship. Even when the actors were shooting for the film, reports emerged that the duo was seeing each other. But they refuted the reports terming them as mere rumours.
After much speculation, Simbu and Hansika came out in the open last week and revealed about their relationship. Both the actors confirmed their love affair by posting a message on micro-blogging site Twitter.
Hansika posted a message saying, "Been hearing to many rumours abt my personal life, so jus wana clear.yes!I'm seeing Str:)n hence I wouldnt like 2talk abt my personal life."
Simbu then tweeted, "Yes I'm am with hansika and right now she is doing really good and marriage will b decided by our family ... Hope u will respect our privacy."
Following their public declaration of love, fans will be eager to watch Hansika-Simbu's chemistry in "Vaalu", which is expected to get released during Diwali this year.
