In continuation of Rockstar providing double RP and double GTA money events to players of GTA 5 Online, another new event was announced for those participating in The Pacific Standard Heist. The latest event will be running from 3 to 9 August, 2015.
The last two weeks saw Rockstar offering players similar events with Prison Break and Humane Labs Raid jobs.
"The grand finale in our lineup of GTA Online Double GTA money and RP Heist bonuses kicks off today and lasts through the weekend with the biggest score of them all: the daring assault on the vaults of the Pacific Standard Public Deposit Bank," reads the post on Newswire.
The maximum payout in this even can reach up to 3.3 million GTA money, where each of the player gets about a million each.
The post goes on to detail the dos and the don'ts for the success of the event. It says,
- The raid will be set up at Pacific Standard's flagship branch in Downtown Los Santos.
- Players must steam motorbikes from the Lost M.C
- Destroy a Merryweather convoy
- Extract a fugitive from LSPD's hands and many more
All the above will lead players to earn double RP and double GTA money.
In the Pacific Standard Job, players will have to divide the team into hacker, demolition man, two others for crowd control. Players will need to stock up on ammunition and armour before they head to the bank. Hacker will give the team members five minutes to complete the robbery. Players can spam the pickup button and this will allow them to gobble up 1.25 million GTA money (or 2.5 million GTA money after double payout), reported iDigitalTimes.
The post also adds that the bonuses will also be available in Elite Challenges. In order to reap benefits of such generous rewards, player will have to do the following:
- Finish the Finale in under 10:15
- Avoid having NOOSE called
- See that none of them get killed
The event will not only help the player improve their ranks, but will also help them practise the following skills that are needed for The Pacific Standard Job:
- Deathmatch: Finish in Top 3, Run Over and Kill an Enemy Using a Vehicle
- Missions: Not Losing Any Lives Bonus
- Races: Clean Lap, Fastest Lap, First for Whole Lap, Get Into 1st Place, Overtake Player 5 Times, Overtake Player 10 Times, Slipstream for 5 Seconds
- Simeon Car Export Requests
- Stunt Jumps
- Survival: Enemy Kill, Vehicle Destroyed
