Upcoming adult comedy "Great Grand Masti" is ready to be released July 22. Also being termed as "Masti 3," the film was under the scanner of the censor board for its adult content. It has now been cleared by the certification authority with 22 cuts and an "A" certificate, reports Catch News.

The third installment of the successful "Masti" series will hit the screens a few days after Eid this year. The movie stars Riteish Deshmukh, Aftab Shivdasani and Vivek Oberoi. Its earlier scheduled release date of March 25 had to be pushed reportedly due to delays caused by censor hassles.

Its new release date has now been finalised as July 22, and the trailer of the Ekta Kapoor-production will be out in June, the report said. July will be a big month for Bollywood as two of the most-awaited movies of this year — Salman Khan's "Sultan" and Shah Rukh Khan's "Raees" — are also expected to be released around the time of Eid.

Moreover, the John Abraham and Varun Dhawan-starrer action movie "Dishoom" will also hit the screens July 29, just a week after "Great Grand Masti." The last two adult comedies — "Mastizaade" and "Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3" — could not make a good run at the box office. However, both "Masti" and "Grand Masti" were box office hits, making the third installment also a much-awaited one.

It was being said earlier that "Great Grand Masti" was denied certification by the censor board as it felt that the movie is filled with extremely vulgar scenes. Ekta Kapoor had then reportedly approached the Film Certification Appellate Tribunal, which apparently worked in favour of the filmmakers.

Directed by Indra Kumar, "Great Grand Masti" will have the same male lead cast as before, including Riteish, Aftab and Vivek. But the female cast will now comprise Urvashi Rautela and Pooja Bose.
