Ganesh Chaturthi marks the birthday of Lord Ganesha and is mostly celebrated in Maharashtra and parts of southern India. This year, the 10-day long festival begins on Sept. 5, Monday and most stars are already in a celebratory mood.
As many as 70 TV stars have brought home idols of their favourite Lord Ganesha, while screen actors have, so far, wished their fans on social media. Shilpa Shetty will offer prayers to an eco-friendly idol this year and has urged all of her admirers to do the same.
