The bookings for Ford's upcoming Figo Aspire sedan will commence in India from 27 July, with the company expected to pull the wraps off its new sedan in the country in August, ahead of the festive season.
The dealers of Ford will accept the bookings for Figo Aspire against a down payment of Rs 30,000. Ford Figo Aspire, the much-awaited offering in the sedan segment, will be available with three engine options, 1.2-liter Ti-VCT petrol, 1.5-litre TDCI and 1.5-litre Ti-VCT motor, and two transmission options, five-speed manual transmission and six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
While the entry variant of Figo Aspire will be powered by 1.2-liter Ti-VCT engine, which is tuned to churn out 88 PS @ 6300 rpm and 112 Nm @ 4000 rpm of peak torque and comes mated to a five-speed manual transmission, 1.5-liter TDCi that has the capacity to produce 100PS of power and 215Nm of torque will come with 5-speed manual gearbox.
The third engine in the line-up, the 1.5-liter Ti-VCT is tuned to produce 112 PS @ 6300 rpm and 136 Nm @ 4250 rpm of torque with 6-Speed dual clutch automatic gearbox.
Ford Figo Aspire, which will be pitted against Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire, Honda Amaze, Tata Zest and Hyundai Xcent, is speculated to carry a price tag between Rs 5.2 lakh and Rs 7 lakh.
Ford Figo Spire will be available in Ambiente, Trend, Titanium and Titanium+ trims and will come in six exterior colour choices: Ruby Red, Sparkling Gold, Oxford White, Tuxedo Black, Deep Impact Blue, Ingot Silver and Smoke Grey.
