EXO member DO will play the lead role in upcoming Korean film "Pure Love" alongside actress Kim So Hyun.
The movie revolves around the romantic life of a couple, who narrates their story to the listeners of a radio program after 23 years. It will be the first full length feature film by director Lee Eun Hee.
Since it tells the story of a fishing village, critics and movie lovers are eagerly waiting to analyse the cast members' efforts to pull off the regional dialect.
The filming of "Pure Love" will reportedly begin in Goheung County in Jeollanam-do province, and the flick is expected to hit the big screen next year, according to Soompi.
Other cast members in the film include MBC's "Make a Wish" actor Yeon Joon Seok, KBS's "Masked Prosecutor" fame Joo Da Young, and KBS's "Who Are You" star David Lee.
Meanwhile, the EXO member is preparing himself for the group's repackaged album, "Love Me Right", which will be released on Wednesday, 3 June.
On the other hand, SM Entertainment has released an individual teaser poster for the upcoming project, wherein he is seen sitting at a stadium in sports gear.
