Shah Rukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor working together is all things magical. There have been conjectures the two will soon begin work on Aditya Chopra's project which is to be directed by Shimit Amin.

A 9xe.com report claims that the two have been in talks and the film will roll out sometime next year. The "Chak De! India" director apparently has had his share of discussions with the actors on the matter. ""The talks have been fruitful," a source informed the web portal.

While there's no way to confirm this piece of information unless the stars come out and talk about it, the possibility of them coming together looks bleak. Shah Rukh Khan has his films ready for release in 2016, but the Kapoor scion has quite a bit to finish on his plate.

SRK, in one of his recent interviews, said the Rahul Dholakia directorial will be ready in January. Maneesh Sharma's "Fan" has already been wrapped up, except for some post-production work.

Meanwhile, RK has to work hard on closing the "Jagga Jasoos" schedule which has seen some really bad days in the past few months. There were reports of director Anurag Basu and Katrina Kaif's fallout and also how he was not happy with a few scenes which had to be done over. The "Tamasha" actor also has Ayan Mukerji's film lined up for which he will reportedly be seen playing a caped crusader.

Looking at their date books, it is highly unlikely that they will come together for a film in the coming year.
