"Dhoom 3" has beaten the lifetime collection record of this year's third highest grossing film "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani". The third film in the Dhoom franchise has now taken the third spot in domestic box office chart with ₹199.08 crore earnings.

The top spot is being held by "Krrish 3" with ₹240 crore followed by "Chennai Express" with ₹227 crore. 

Also, Aamir Khan's "Dhoom 3" has shattered Salman Khan's "Ek Tha Tiger" lifetime collection record and gained the fourth the position at the highest grosser films ever list.

After finishing the first week run with highest earnings, the film started the second week on a solid note. On Second Friday the film minted ₹10.10 crore inclusive of Tamil and Telugu version.

"#Dhoom3 language-wise breakup [Week 2; Fri]: Hindi ₹ 188.77 cr, Tamil & Telugu ₹ 10.31 cr. Grand total: ₹ 199.08 cr nett. India biz only," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.

The film has created another record by crossing the ₹300 crore mark at worldwide box office in just eight days.

The worldwide total of the film after eight days stands at ₹303.36 crore. It became the fastest film to cross the ₹300 crore worldwide.

"REVISED: Here's *Week 1* total of #Dhoom3: India ₹ 188.98 cr + Overseas ₹ 105.28 cr [$ 17.02 million]. Worldwide total: ₹ 294.26 cr. ATBB." Adarsh tweeted on Friday.
