The successful association of Dhanush and Anirudh Ravichander has broken with the actor teaming up with another fast-growing musician, Santhosh Narayanan. The reason behind the separation is said to be the recent beep controversy of the "Kolaveri di" musician that also involved Simbu.

Rumours are rife that Dhanush decided to break his collaboration with Anirudh as he was not happy to see the talent, who was introduced to films and groomed by him, hitting headlines for all the wrong reasons. Anirudh is not just a good friend of the "Kaadhal Kondein" actor but also a close relative of his wife Aishwarya, the daughter of superstar Rajinikanth.

The issue seems to have embarrassed the family. But it has to be noted that Anirudh has denied his involvement in the controversial song and the case is still before the court. The issue broke out a few weeks ago after an alleged song written, sung and composed by Anirudh and Simbu was leaked. Subsequently, the number garnered huge criticism from the public for its cuss words used against women.

For the last few years, music for the movies made on Dhanush's WunderBar has been composed by Anirudh. In fact, Anirudh was one of the founders of the production house.

Without any doubt, it was believed that he would score music for the latest movie "Kodi". But in a surprising development, Dhanush has announced that Santhosh Narayanan will be helming the music department.

"Kodi" is a political-thriller written and directed by Durai Senthilkumar. The movie has Trisha Krishnan and Shamili in the female lead roles and SA Chandrasekhar plays an important role in the flick.

Coming to Santhosh Narayanan, he is one of the young musicians, who have impressed the audience with his fresh songs. His forthcoming big films are Rajinikanth's "Kabali" and Vijay's 60th untitled movie.
