Dhansika is sharing screen space with Rajinikanth for the first time in forthcoming Tamil movie "Kabali." She will be seen in the role of a gangster who locks horns with the superstar in the flick, which has been written and directed by Pa Ranjith.

It is a challenging role for Dhansika as she has not played such characters before."Dhansika plays a Thai-based gangster and has her own gang. She plays a brat of a daughter who has serious issues with her father," a source tells the IANS.

Dhansika, who wrapped up the shooting of her portions in the flick last month, has sported altogether a different look in "Kabali," where she appears in a boy cut.

She is also part of an action sequence where her martial skills have been fully exploited by the director. Thus, making "Kabali" easily a special film for the actress.

"Kabali" tells the story of an aged don who cares for the children affected by gang wars. Radhika Apte plays his wife Kumudhavalli. Dinesh essays the role of the son of another gang leader and Kalaiyarasan can be seen as a teacher named TamizhKumaran in "Kabali."

John Vijay will play the role of Rajini's close friend in the Tamil movie. And Kishore and Winston are seen as Malaysian and Chinese gangsters, respectively.

Meanwhile, the post-production works of "Kabali" are happening in full swing. The makers are planning to release a teaser shortly and it will be followed by the audio release next month. The multilingual movie will hit the screens in May.

"Kabali" has been produced by Kalaipuli S Dhanu. It has Santhosh Narayanan's music, G Murali's cinematography and Praveen KL's editing.
