Deepika Padukone, the queen of Bollywood, has retained the title of India's top loved star. This is for the sixth time in a row the "Bajirao Mastani" actress has topped Ormax's "Stars India Loves" survey.

The list has Deepika as the top loved star, followed by Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt. The top 10 most loved female stars in June list is similar to the list that was revealed in May. The top four stars retained their position, while Alia replaced Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to become the fifth most loved star in June. Madhuri Dixit Nene, who was ranked as the ninth most loved star in May, is now the eight most loved stars in June.

Here are the top 10-loved celebrities according to their ranks: Deepika, Katrina, Kareena, Priyanka, Alia, Aishwarya, Shraddha Kapoor, Madhuri, Kajol and Jacqueline Fernandez.

Deepika, the newsmaker, has been consistently in the news for her Bollywood and Hollywood projects and her alleged affair with Ranveer Singh. Katrina's alleged breakup with Ranbir Kapoor and rumours of her working with Salman Khan kept her in the news in June.

Kareena, on the other hand, was in the news for her pregnancy rumours. Priyanka, Alia, Aishwarya and Shraddha were in the news for their films, while Madhuri was for judging dance reality show "So You Think You Can Dance." Jacqueline was one of the top newsmakers in June for  joining the judges' panel of "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9" and her upcoming "Dishoom" movie.

Ormax's "Stars India Loves" survey is a monthly assessment that tracks the popularity of the Bollywood stars based on their endorsements, films and news. The survey is conducted in around 29 cities across India with a total sample size of 3,300 per month (39,600 per year).
