Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone does not want alleged beau Ranveer Singh to join her family outing.
Ranveer and Deepika have recently wrapped the shoot of their upcoming film "Bajirao Mastani" and the actress has planned to take some time out to spend time with her family. However, Ranveer invited himself to the outing, which was turned down by the "Piku" actress.
This has made Ranveer angry, who recently made headlines for tweeting that he couldn't take his eyes off Deepika.
"Ranveer has always tried to get close to Deepika's family, may be because he wants to take the relationship to the next level, but she has been a bit averse to the idea so far," Deccan Chronicle quoted a source as saying.
"She likes to maintain a distance from him in the presence of her family. Ranveer, at this point, is a lot more hurt and angry about the incident than he is willing to show," the insider further added.
The "Dil Dhadakne Do" actor has always expressed his love for Deepika openly, but it seems the actress is not ready to accept the relationship in public.
Whether she is not sure of taking the relationship with Ranveer to the next level or Ranveer is just being impatient is something only time will tell.
Meanwhile, the couple will be seen on silver screen on 18 December with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Bajirao Mastani."
Bhansali's ambitious project also features Priyanka Chopra. While Ranveer and Deepika play the roles of Peshwa Baji Rao and Mastani, respectively, Priyanka will be seen as Bajirao's first wife, Kashibai.
After Bhansali's "Ram-Leela", the couple (Ranveer and Deepika) is back on the big screen to re-create their chemistry in this period drama.
The film is releasing along with Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol's "Dilwale", directed by Rohit Shetty.
