Aamir Khan's Dangal has minted Rs. 1,154 crore gross at the China box office in 39 days and its total collection has inched closer to the mark of Rs. 2,000 crore gross in the worldwide market.

Dangal collected $13.75 million at the China box office in its fifth week, taking its 35-day total collection to $174 million in the country. The craze for the Aamir Khan and Sakshi Tanwar starrer is going strong as the film kept the cash registers ringing in the country in its sixth week.

Dangal is estimated to have collected US$5.41 million at the China box office in its sixth weekend and its 39-day total collection stands at $179.41 million in the country. The movie has continued to do well at the Taiwan box office and its total collection has reached US$6 million (Rs. 38.75 crore gross) in the country.

Dangal has collected a total of US$301.03 million at the worldwide box office and become the first Indian film to surpass the mark of US$300 million. It has also beaten the record of Alice Through The Looking Glass, which collected a total of $299.5 million in the global market in its lifetime.

Ramesh Bala‏, an observer of Indian cinema, tweeted: "#Dangal becomes the 1st Indian movie to do US$300 M at the WW BO.. #China - $179.41 M #Taiwan - $6 M RoW - $115.62 M Total - $301.03 M." He added: "#Dangal with $301 M replaces #AliceThroughTheLookingGlass 's $299.5 M to become 2016 's No. 30th movie and enters Top 30 2016 WW BO Club!"
