"Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders" Season 1 is now getting fans hooked, with every episode showing the IRT investigating interesting case around the world.
In episode 7, we saw how the IRT saved a retired couple from Idaho, who are kidnapped in Morocco while they were visiting the country on a cruise.
This week, in episode 8, we will see the team investigating the murder of woman who was holidaying in Mexico with her family. Jack and his team will suspect the woman's husband as he is missing from the scene.
The plot synopsis for "De Los Inocentes" (via TV Guide) reads: "A woman is murdered while vacationing in Mexico with her family and the team investigates her husband as the prime suspect after he flees."
In other reports, it has been suggested that Jack's son may join the team. In the season finale, fans will apparently get to meet the IRT chief's wife, Karen, with whom he has six kids, including son Ryan and daughter Josie, who is heading off to college. But it's where Ryan's heading that concerns Jack the most, reported TV Guide.
"It's hard for Jack. He's conflicted. He did the same thing — he followed in his father's footsteps, so he understands the family business aspect of it. Yet he also knows how dark the world is and the different types of things he's had to face in his career, the challenges. But he doesn't want to be a hypocrite and discourage Ryan either, so he's trying to find that medium," said actor Gary Sinise, who plays Jack.
"Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders" Season 1 episode 8, "De Los Inocentes," will be aired on Wednesday, April 27, at 10 p.m. on CBS.
