Coolpad Note 3 Lite has received a good response from buyers in India. The first flash sale for the Coolpad's latest affordable smartphone on Amazon India concluded on Thursday with 30,000 units sold in just 21 seconds.

Coolpad Note 3 Lite is continuing the success of the original 5.5-inch variant launched in October last year. According to the company, the Note 3 Lite received more than 600,000 registrations for its first flash sale. The extreme demand for the Note 3 Lite comes from its worthy specifications, which include 3GB RAM, fingerprint scanner and 13MP camera.

"We are overwhelmed by the response Coolpad Note 3 Lite has received during the first flash sale on Amazon.in with 30000 units being sold in 14 seconds. This is a clear indication that the customers have appreciated this power packed smartphone for its features and is also a testimony for our commitment and efforts to bring affordable technology to all. The reaction and response of the Indian customers to Coolpad Note 3 Lite has been very receptive, we received over 600K registrations for our first flash sale and announce our next flash sale on the 4th of Feb," Syed Tajuddin, CEO, Coolpad India, said in a statement.

Registrations for the next flash sale are open on Amazon India.

Coolpad Note 3 Lite is aggressively priced at Rs 6,999 and it is easily one of the most affordable smartphones with fingerprint scanning technology. The new handset, which was launched in India on 15 January, complies with India's "Make in India" initiative and has been built at Videocon's Aurangabad factory, Coolpad VP Dr. Johnson Luo said.

In terms of specifications, Coolpad Note 3 Lite sports a 5-inch HD screen, 13MP primary camera with LED flash, 5MP front snapper with CMOS image sensor and a 2,500mAh battery. It is powered by a 1.3GHz 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 quad-core processor, ARM Mali T720 GPU, 3GB RAM and has 16GB storage.

Coolpad Note 3 Lite also has dual SIM card support and microSD card for additional storage. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop-based Cool UI 6.0 and supports high-speed 4G LTE bandwidths. Available in black and white colours, the Note 3 Lite is sold exclusively on Amazon India.

Coolpad Note 3 Lite looks a lot like the original Note 3, which has a 5.5-inch screen among other small changes. Coolpad sold more than 1,50,000 units of Note 3 online in India. According to Dr. Luo, the company's aim is to produce more than 1 million Coolpad handsets by the end of first half of 2016.
