Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is set to win hearts as a dwarf in Aanand L Rai's film. Earlier, there were rumours that Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif will star opposite King Khan. But, now Alia Bhatt has replaced Deepika.
Last month, a picture of SRK and Aanand with a woman, who looked like Alia, at Dubai airport have set off rumours. It was being speculated that the Dear Zindagi pair will reunite once again.
The recent buzz is that the reports are true and Alia will be seen in Aanand's next. A unit hand informed Mid Day: "Alia Bhatt is yet to sign on the dotted line, but has verbally committed to the film. The three actors will start prepping once Katrina Kaif completes the ongoing Abu Dhabi schedule of her film with Salman Khan. Rai plans to take the project on floors later this year."
It will be fun to see the trio work together as Alia shares a close bond with SRK as well as with Katrina. Deepika, on the other hand, is said to have date issues due to Padmavati. But fans were eagerly waiting to see Ranbir Kapoor's ex-girlfriends – Katrina and Deepika – together on the silver screen.
Did Deepika back out to avoid awkward situations? Whatever is the case, people will be happy to learn that Alia will reunite with SRK once again.
