Code Black Season 1 Episode 12 air date: Synopsis-title released; teases Heather-Angus-Mario love triangle [Spoilers]

"Code Black" season 1 has gone on a winter break after airing episode 11 titled "Black Tag" on 9 December. CBS won't be airing any new episode of the medical drama until next year. The fans can expect to catch the next episode 12, titled "The Fog of War" only on 13 January, 2016.

After an intense mid season finale episode, "Code Black" season 1 will take an interesting romantic twist when it returns with its mid season premiere in 2016.

The mid season finale focused on Jesse's recovery from a massive heart attack in the episode titled "Cardiac Support" and how Dr. Leanne Rorish, along with a group of Angels Memorial Hospital residents, heads to a scene of a massive car wreck.

The gripping episode revolved around the concept of black tagging, which in medical jargon means "the practice of doctors "black tagging" patients that are likely to not survive, thereby alerting the next responder so they can divert their attention and resources elsewhere." Dr Leanne asks her residents to decide whether their patients will live or die by "black tagging" them.

Until last week, CBS had not released any official synopsis or title for the mid season premiere, but now the network has revealed episode 12 will be called "The Fog of War" and going by the synopsis we can assume that there's a huge possibility of Heather-Angus-Mario finding themselves in the middle of a love triangle.

It looks like the premiere will pick from where the winter finale left, where doctors were treating patients from a chaotic multi-vehicle accident. Also, the synopsis teases that Malaya will learn about Carla being at the hospital, and she will go against Carla's words to stay back by her side during her delivery.

Official synopsis of episode 12 reads: "A love triangle starts to form as the doctors treat patients from a multi-vehicle accident; Malaya disregards Carla's wishes and stays by her side as she delivers her baby."
