Megastar Chiranjeevi is all set to return to the silver screen after several years. The actor had starred in 149 films but stopped acting to concentrate on his political career.

Chiranjeevi is all set to commence his 150th film this year. There have been lot of speculations about this project for the last few months. Earlier, it was said that details about the 150th film will be announced on the special occasion of Chiranjeevi's birthday on 20 August.

However, latest buzz is that there will not be any announcement about the 150th film on Friday as the film's story has not yet been finalised.

But, some details about the project have emerged. According to latest reports, the yet to be titled film will be a complete entertainer with loads of action and comedy. It will neither be a historical film nor a message-oriented subject.

"Flash news about Chiru 150th film: It will be entertainer with lot of comedy and action. Its not going to be message/historical," tweeted Jeevi of Idlebrain.

The film's director will be decided after the story is confirmed. Buzz is that director VV Vinayak has been approached to direct the film, but there is no official confirmation in this regard.

Details about the film's cast and crew will also be revealed later. Actor Ram Charan, son of Chiranjeevi, will reportedly be producing the 150th film.

Chiranjeevi's Birthday on 22 August

The actor's new looks have been revealed on the special occasion of his birthday. He looks young and stylish in the stills.

On his birthday, the megastar will be visiting a temple along with his family members in Nepal. "Chiru will visit with family on his birthday at a temple in Nepal followed by family time at a spa for rejuvenation," Jeevi tweeted.

Ram Charan will be handling the megastar's birthday celebrations in Hyderabad.

On the special occasion, the first-look poster of Sai Dharam Tej's (Chiranjeevi's nephew) "Pillu Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham" will be released. Buzz is also that the teaser of Varun Tej's (Chiru's nephew) "Mukunda" teaser will hit the net on Friday.
