Recently, there was news that Kajol Srivastava would be seen playing the role of Devi after the show's leap. It was reported that Devi, a kind-hearted woman, would enter Ashoka's life as the other woman and would go on to become his wife. Kajol's character is said to be promising and her relationship with the warrior would be a major highlight of the show.

Further, Somya Seth of "Kavya" fame will be playing the role of Ashoka's love interest Kaurwaki, currently played by Reem Sheikh. Mohit, as well as the other new actors, have started shooting for the show, which will take the leap on May 2.

Meanwhile before the leap, the makers of "Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat" have stored an exciting track for its viewers. It was reported that Ashoka (Siddharth Nigam) would kill Nicator (Tej Sapru) and Mir Khorasan (Vikrant Chaturvedi) in the upcoming episodes.

Realising that there is no one left to seek revenge from Bindusar (Sameer Dharmadhikari) after the death of Nicator and Mir, a disturbed Helena (Suzanne Bernert) will try to commit suicide. However, the report said that Ashoka would stop Helena from taking the drastic step.
