Three movies were released this week – "Titli", "Main Aur Charles" and "Guddu Ki Gun" – and all of them failed to create the magic at the box office.

"Main Aur Charles", starring Randeep Hooda and Richa Chadda, opened to rave reviews at the box office, but same could not said about its box office collection.

The crime thriller had a poor opening weekend as it failed to make an impression at the box office. The film collected approximately Rs 2 crore in its opening weekend, according to Koimoi.com.

The opening weekend box office collection of "Guddu Ki Gun" starring Kunal Khemu was also in the same range. Adult comedy "Guddu Ki Gun" had a poor opening and it went on to collect just Rs 2 crore in its opening weekend.

On the other hand, critically acclaimed movie "Titli" starring Ranvir Shorey has minted Rs 1 crore from the domestic box office in three days.

"#Titli Fri 20 lacs, Sat 40 lacs, Sun 45 lacs. Total: ₹ 1.05 cr. India biz," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.

The combined total of the three movies is a bit higher than the third weekend box office collection of comedy film "Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2".

According to Kamaal R Khan (KRK), the third weekend box office collection of "Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2" is Rs 4 crore.

"#PyaarKaPunchnama2 collected approx 4 Cr during 3rd weekend means super hit. Producer Kumar Mangat Ji Ki Nikal Padi," Kamaal R Khan tweeted.

The 17-day box office collection of "Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2" stands at Rs 57.50 crore.

The film, which is a sequel to "Pyaar Ka Punchnama, features Nushrat Bharucha, Sonnalli Seygall, Ishita Sharma and lead actor Kartik Aryan reprising their roles in the sequel, while Raayo S Bakhirta and Divyendu Sharma have been replaced by two debutantes Sunny Singh and Omkar Kapoor, respectively.
