The mass entertainer has surpassed the opening day collections of "Balupu," which had earned ₹3.86 crore share. After a fantastic day 1, "Power" has managed to hold well and earn decent collections o the second day.

The Ravi Teja starrer is estimated to have earned around ₹3.2 crore share on day 2. If the film continues its good run on Sunday, it will end the opening weekend on a good note.

"Power" has also surpassed "Balupu" two-day collections including premieres in the United States. "Balupu" earned $99.3K, while "Power" grossed $162K in two days at the US box office. [Note: "Balupu" was premiered only in nine screens in the US due to print delay, according to Idlebrain]

"Ravi Teja's Power USA gross: premieres - $66k, Friday - $96k, total - $162k. Pretty good. Balupu made 290k by Sunday," Jeevi of idlebrain tweeted.

"Power" has failed to beat the two-day collections of Jr NTR's "Rabhasa," which had grossed $177K at the US box office. The film is expected to perform well and earn decent collections in its first weekend.

It will be interesting to see how "Power" fares in the weekdays. The Ravi Teja starrer, which had released in around 900 screens worldwide, has only a few days to dominate the screens.

The film might lose some screens due to the release of Mahesh Babu's "Aagadu" on 19 September. The makers of "Aagadu" are reportedly planning to get a wide release for the Mahesh Babu starrer.

"Aagadu" is carrying huge pre-release buzz and the film is likely to take grand openings upon its release. It will be posing strong competition for "Power" at the box office. Although "Power" has received decent reviews, it needs to be seen whether the film will be able to sustain its momentum with the release of "Aagadu."

Directed by KS Ravindra, "Power" has Ravi Teja appearing as ACP Baldev Sahay and Tirupathi. Hansika and Regina Cassandra play the female leads, while Mukesh Rishi, Brahmanandam, Sapthagiri, Sampath Raj and Kota Srinivasa Rao are also part of the film's cast.
