This weekend, the Malayalam cinema lovers are set to witness a big box office clash.

Popular actors Mohanlal and Manju Warrier will be locking horns with their respective films – "Mr Fraud" and "How Old Are You?"

Both the films will reportedly be releasing on 17 May (Saturday) and heading for a big clash. "Mr. Fraud" and "How Old Are You?" are among the most-awaited films of 2014.

While the former has the 'complete actor' Mohanlal in a pivotal role, the latter marks the comeback of Manju Warrier. She was once ruling the Malayalam industry, but quit films after getting married to actor Dileep.

After 14 years, the actress is all set to make her comeback with "How Old Are You?" directed by Roshan Andrews. The family drama will have Manju playing the role of Nirupama Rajeev, a UD clerk in the Revenue Department. The film talks about male-female friendship after a certain age, reported the New Indian Express.

The female-oriented film also has Kunchako Boban, Kaniha and Lalu Alex among others. The film's script is written by Sanjay-Bobby duo and is produced by Listin Stephen. The film's teaser has already generated a lot of buzz among fans, who are eagerly waiting to see Manju's comeback on the silver screen.

The film was initially slated to hit the screens on 15 April, but has now been pushed to 17 April.

The other biggie - Mohanlal's "Mr Fraud" - is also carrying lot of positive pre-release buzz. The heist film, directed by B. Unnikrishnan, has Dev Gill, Siddique, Pallavi Purohit, Mia George and Manjari Phadnis in pivotal roles. It is produced by A.V. Anoop and scheduled to be out in theatres on the same day as "How Old Are You?"

In the past, Manju and Mohanlal have shared great chemistry in films such as "Kanmadam", "Aaram Thamburan" and "Summer in Bethlehem." After several years, director Ranjith announced Manju's comeback film with Mohanlal, but the film never happened.

Now, the actors are set to clash at the box office, which has caught the attention of trade experts. Mohanlal has a good fan following not just in Kerala, but also in other places. "Mr Fraud" is likely to take a fantastic opening upon its release, thanks to Mohanlal's star power. On the other hand, Manju's comeback is expected to give "How Old Are You?" a good start. However, the performances of the film will depend on its content.

It will be interesting to see as to who will emerge a winner at the box office – Manju or Mohanlal?
