"Bigg Boss" is gearing up for its ninth edition and Salman Khan will reprise his role as the host of the new season.

While the makers are yet to reveal concrete details regarding the new season, some probable list of contestants have been doing the rounds.

The latest buzz is that adult star-turned Bollywood actress Sunny Leone's husband Daniel Weber is likely to take part in the new season. Sunny had participated in the fifth edition of the controversial show.

Further, Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi is said to have been approached by the show-makers. Afridi has been in news after Indian model and actress Arshi  Khan triggered controversy by revealing about her intimate relationship with the Pakistani cricketer. Arshi is also rumoured to be participating in this season.

Asmita Sood, who plays Meher in "Phir Bhi Na Maane ... Badtameez Dil" has also been approached by the show-makers. With "Phir Bhi Na Maane ... Badtameez Dil" going off air from Star Plus, it would be a treat for Asmita's fan to watch her on the most watched reality show.

Meanwhile, rumour has it that the 10 contestants of "Bigg Boss 9" are Salman's look-alike Najeem Khan who featured in "Bajrangi Bhaijaan", former couple Ankit Gera and Roopal Tyagi who worked together in "Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke" show, India's first gay brand ambassador Nakshatra Bagwe, and Ranbir Kapoor's cousin Armaan Jain, who made his Bollywood debut with "Lekar Hum Deewana Dil".

TV celebrities Sunil Grover, Mahhi Vij, Arshi Khan, Mayur Verma and Mohit Malhotra are also listed among the contestants of the season.
