Day two of "Bigg Boss 9" started with the contestants engaging in household chores. A few of them pointed out that Roopal Tyagi is an inactive inmate, after which she and her partner Digangana Suryavanshi went on a cleaning spree.

Ankit Gera started a conversation with Digangana and ended up indirectly taunting his ex-girlfriend Roopal. Roopal, however, chose to ignore Ankit's comment and continued with her cleaning job.

Later, Bigg Boss announced the first budget task of the season where an elected pair had to nominate another pair to complete a task on 'phobia'.

Roopal and Digangana was the first jodi to be nominated by Prince Narula and his partner Rochelle Rao to complete a task on Omphalophobia (fear of belly buttons), followed by Ankit Gera and Arvind Vedge who faced Globophobia (fear of balloons) after being nominated by Keith Sequeira and Mandana  Karimi.

Aman Verma and Kishwer Merchantt challenged Yuvika Chaudhary and Vikas Bhalla for Obesophobia (fear of becoming fat). But the pair had to quit midway after Yuvika felt uneasy.

The next task Peladophobia (fear of becoming bald) was given to Suyyash Rai and Rimi Sen. However, Rimi refused to take up the task leaving Suyyash disappointed.

This is the second time Suyyash had to compromise due to Rimi. On the first day, Suyyash had to unwillingly let go his bag because of Rimi.

At the end of the day, lovebirds Suyyash and Kishwer were seen discussing their clash with respective partners Rimi and Aman.
