The 2012 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating comes to conclusion with Saturday's grand finale. It is an international figure skating competitions organized by the International Skating Union and medals are given to the winners of disciplines - men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing.

In Pairs Skating, Tatiana Volosozhar and Maim Trankov of Russia were ahead of Vera Bazarova and Yuri Larionov of Russia in the second place and Qing Pang and Jian Tong of China in the third before the final.

Meryl Davis and Charlie White of the United States were ahead in ice dancing category before the grnad finale. They were followed by Virtue and Moir of Canada and Nathalie Pechalat and Fabian Bourzat of France.

In the ladies' singles, Mao Asada of Japan won the 2012 Grand Prix Final of figure skating on Saturday, beating Ashley Wagner of the United States, Akiko Suzuki of Japan, Kiira Korpi of Finland, Elizaveta Tuktamysheva of Russia and Christina Gao of United States.

It was a close fight till the free programme where Mao Asada raced far ahead of her opponents. Ashley Wagner, who was just a half a point behind Asada, fell twice in the free skate and settled for a second place while Akiko Suzuki of Japan was placed in the third position.

In the men's individuals too, Daisuke Takahashi of Japan won the title by beating two-time reigning world champion Patrick Chan of Cannada. Chan was placed second and Yuzuru Hanyu of Japan third.
