EA and DICE's next game, "Battlefield 5," may have a World War II theme, according to the cryptic Twitter posts of industry insider Shinobi602.

The user shared a song from "Battlefield 1942" with the caption: "Never gets old. A catchy tune for sure. [sic]" He also tweeted the "Battlefield 2" and "Battlefield 3" theme songs with the tag line: "Getting pumped."

His cryptic tweets were deduced to either mean a World War II-based "Battlefield" game or probably a remake of "Battlefield 1942," which has been popular since its release in 2002 for Xbox and PC.

He also revealed that he is "pumped up" about a possible announcement on Friday, May 6, hinting at a probable statement from EA.

Joe Brammer, executive producer of another game called "Battalion 1944" had recently tweeted: "seen things #BF5 things and I am beyond excited. [sic]" But he had to take it down soon, but the tweet has since been preserved at NeoGAF.

As fans on Twitter speculated of a possible World War 2 theme for the game, Brammer interjected to say: "Yeh there is like 0 logic in this analysis lol. [sic]"

"Battlefield" is popular franchise, and the last game that came out was "Battlefield Hardline" in March 17, preceded by "Battlefield 4," which was released on Oct. 29, 2013.

EA and DICE have not provided any details on any new "Battlefield" game.
