Spanish football heavyweights FC Barcelona are still not at the top of the La Liga 2016-17 table and that is possibly troubling them. Lionel Messi and Co have earned 19 points from nine games so far and are two points behind arch rivals Real Madrid.

Slow and steady progress remains the key now for Luis Enrique's side and he will surely be aware of that. Nothing but a win is what Barcelona will be hoping for when they meet Granada in their La Liga fixture on Saturday at the Camp Nou.

The good news for football fans around the world is that the revered attacking line of Barca – MSN (Messi Suarez Neymar) – is available, and a lot of goals could be expected from them. The bad news is Andres Iniesta, Gerard Pique, Jeremy Mathieu and Jordi Alba are still sidelined owing to their respective injuries. Arda Turan is also the latest to join the list.

Barcelona, with their B side, lost to Espanyol in their Supercopa de Catalunya fixture in the midweek and that is a trophy missed. Enrique, thus, will be directing his men to go and play no-nonsense football against Granada, a side languishing at the bottom of the table.

The Andalusian side have not managed a single win from their last nine domestic fixtures and nothing much but a defeat can only be expected from Saturday's game.

Schedule

Barcelona vs Granada is set to get under way at 12:15 am IST [Sunday] (6:45 pm GMT) on October 29.
