Riteish Deshmukh and Nargis Fakhri-starrer Banjo had started on a very slow note at the box office and its collection did not show much improvement over the weekend. And now, the film's earning remained much low with the start of the weekdays. However, the 5-day collection of Parched is even worse.

Banjo had collected Rs 1.72 crore nett at the Indian box office on its opening day and witnessed very minimal rise in its business over the weekend. The film had earned Rs 1.95 crore on Saturday and Rs 2.25 crore on Sunday.

Although the official figures are yet to be out, current trend suggests that Banjo collected Rs 1 crore (approx) each day on Monday and Tuesday. Thus, the 5-day collection of the musical drama stands at Rs 8 crore nett (approx) in the domestic market.

On the other side, critically acclaimed movie Parched failed to put any impact at the Indian box office in its 5 day commercial run. Released in limited screens, the film had earned Rs 12 lakh on Friday, Rs 22 lakh on Saturday and Rs 28 lakh on Sunday.

Parched has added another Rs 10 lakh (approx) each day on Monday and Tuesday, taking its earning to Rs 80 lakh (approx) at Indian box office.
